One Percent for America (OPA) is a national nonprofit that reduces financial barriers to U.S. citizenship for immigrants—while advancing prosperity for all. Through our innovative pay-it-forward model, we offer 1% interest loans to cover citizenship application fees.
Since launching in 2022, OPA has helped thousands of immigrants afford their citizenship application fees, creating a ripple effect of opportunity that strengthens individuals, families, and entire communities.
